What book are you?

Take this "What book are you?" quiz and let me know what you get! I'm apparently Catch 22 - one of my favorite books. Life does put me in perpetually untenable situations and I *am* incredibly witty and funny, so I like to think it's right on!

You're Catch-22!

by Joseph Heller

Incredibly witty and funny, you have a taste for irony in all that you
see. It seems that life has put you in perpetually untenable situations, and your sense
of humor is all that gets you through them. These experiences have also made you an ardent pacifist, though you present your message with tongue sewn into cheek. You
could coin a phrase that replaces the word "paradox" for millions of people.

Take the Book Quiz.

Watership Down!
Though many think of you as a bit young, even childish, you're
actually incredibly deep and complex. You show people the need to rethink their
assumptions, and confront them on everything from how they think to where they
build their houses. You might be one of the greatest people of all time. You'd
be recognized as such if you weren't always talking about talking rabbits.

Boo! *I'm Catch-22*! I've never even been a teeny bit interested in Watership Down.....but some of these traits are definitely mine.

I've never read Watership Down - but, hey, you can argue with "You might be one of the greatest people of all time"!

oh, I'm not grousing about that; its probably the most accurate part..

I am also Watership Down! I had to read this novel in senior English; I hated it, but I won't disagree with the personality discription especially the greatest person part!

Ahh, Carrie...I knew we were kindred spirits... did you know that Lyman was so impetuous?

"The Poisonwood Bible!
by Barbara Kingsolver

Deeply rooted in a religious background, you have since become both isolated and schizophrenic. You were naively sure that your actions would help people, but of course they were resistant to your message and ultimately disaster ensued. Since you can see so many sides of the same issue, you are both wise beyond your years and tied to worthless perspectives. If you were a type of waffle, it would be Belgian."
--I like Barbara Kingsolver (she went to DePauw, by the way), but I haven't read this book. But this is a fairly accurate reading on me.

Fun quiz!!! Thanks for sharing!

Oooh, the Poisonwood Bible is AMAZING! But, I never thought you were tied to worthless perspectives, or schizophrenic, for that matter.

Screw that quiz!!
I took it twice, because the first time I got The Great Gatsby and I absolutely LOATHE that book and everything that book stands for. It gave me the following description:
Having grown up in immense wealth and privilege, the world is truly at your doorstep. Instead of reveling in this life of luxury, however, you spend most of your time mooning over a failed romance. The object of your affection is all but worthless--a frivolous liar--but it matters not to you. You can paint any image of the past you want and make it seem real. If you were a color of fishing boat light, you would be green.
I do like green, but COME ON!!
So the second time I took it I picked evens instead of odds, and I got the mutherfucking Hobbit.
Who the eff doesn't think dragons are more interesting than elephants? Jesus Christ.
