Here's my review of Cara Hoffman's new book: Be Safe, I Love You about a female Iraqi war vet who comes home with PTSD. I am crazy about Hoffman's So Much Pretty which you really must add to your to-read pile if you haven't read it yet.

I read both of Hoffman's novels this last week. I was really bothered by them, captivated, worried, angry. I am having a hard time shaking off Lauren and her brother. I'm kind of speechless: the novels are great, but troubling, works. I'd say the same for We Are All Beside Ourselves.
